AFC Jordan Valley Ann Ann is the first Springer that we ever bred and championed here at Jordan Valley. Ann earned her championship at the ripe old age of 17 months and won five trials in that first year of competition. Ann’s career average in all-age trials is an amazing 1.63 points per start. She was U.S. National High Point Amateur in 1989 and she was High Point Dam in the United States in 1996, 1997 and 1998 . Ann was complete and sound in every area and I swear she was part human. Ann is heavily influenced by Saighton bloodlines and her great grandsire on both sides is NFC/NAFC/CNFC Saighton’s Scud. Eight of her puppies have gone on to become champions and there’s more in the pipeline. Every dog in my kennel has Ann in their pedigree.
FC/AFC Jordan Valley's Banner
FC/AFC Jordan Valley’s Banner also
called Jordan Valley home. To me
the “Perfect Springer”, Banner could do it all, and with style! She was the result of my first effort to bring Ann and NFC Sunrise Zinger bloodlines together. Her sire is FC Northernthunder’s Bocephus, a son of Zinger. Later breedings of Ann to prominent sons of Zinger, namely, CNFC Northernthunder’s Rupert and NFC KB’s Sir Coach each produced champions. Banner placed fourth in the U.S. National Amateur in 1997 and averaged 1.62 points per all-age trial started over her five year career.
Jordan Valley's Diamond Z
Jordan Valley’s Diamond Z is cut from the same cloth as Ann and Banner and his talent level and temperament is similar. I got a late start with his training and didn't steady him until the age of five. It turned out to be too late to get him a championship (although he has field trial points). The fact that I never gave this dog a fair shot at achieving a championship will haunt me as I see everyday what he is capable of. Because of his talent and his close ties to Ann I am committed to using him as my stud dog. The puppies coming out of him are proving my instincts right. He is throwing some really nice ones.
